Living in Houston is fairly UN-windy. Unless it is a hurricane. So to me, it was. Also, some cold front was blowing through right at the time I was there and so not only was it breezy it was COLD to me. Two of my least favorite weather thingies. I am accustomed to somewhat of a terrarium feel... moist, still, and warm. I think I am developing gills from a lifetime along the Gulf Coast...
Yes -- that's the Texas i know, even in San Antonio it feels like that to me. That's where I grew up and where I return at holidays, to TX's strange sometimes balmy Christmases. I totally get how it can be like a terrarium.

They say that that's not true, but I never bought it. People call it that for a reason.

You felt the windiness from the 1920's politicians who blew hot wind and so won the title 'Windy City' for their fair city?
I am so sorry that I am the shallowest of your commentors.

Justin,
Deep and wide, deep and wide, there's a fountain flowing deep and wide.
I never knew that. And now I do. Not so shallow.

But it WAS windy.
Happy Thanksgiving, Maleah.
Best to you and your family,
